Launched in January 2024 by Arnaud de Fontenay, French Premiere presents a new French film exclusively every month in the Bay Area, in the original French version with English subtitles.

Too many high-quality French films are often only scheduled in the United States for a few weeks, sometimes just a few days, and typically limited to cinemas in major cities like New York or Los Angeles.

Watching a recent French film often boils down to catching a screening at a Festival during daytime hours. Subsequently, the films become available on Video-On-Demand or streaming platforms, marking the premature end of the Cinema Experience – the shared joy of emotions and laughter on the Big Screen.

In the Bay Area, numerous French films miss the opportunity for a theatrical screening.

With French Premiere, you’ll have the chance to enjoy these films in theaters a few months after their French release.

French Premiere is programming in San Francisco, Oakland and Palo Alto Theatres.

All screenings are in French Language with English Subtitles.
